This page exists because the site claims to demonstrate agentic-coding skill. The fastest way to show that claim is true is to publish the shape of the work that produced the site itself: the spec, the plan, the test gates, and an honest reflection on where the agent helped and where it needed steering.
How this site was built
- Spec. A first static-site plan was revised after the goal changed from quiet personal workshop to explicit AI-skills showcase.
- Plan. The implementation plan was rewritten so the AI claim had visible evidence: project cards, a real field note, and this build log.
- Execution. Astro project scaffold, reusable layout components, Cloudflare Pages configuration, and content routes were generated task by task.
- Launch gates. The page avoids analytics, cookies, third-party scripts, forms, and private operational references.
Where agents helped
Planning structure, boilerplate Astro files, deployment workflow, repeated legal-page layout, CSS refactoring, and keeping the content boundary explicit.
Where humans stayed in charge
Positioning decisions, what projects are worth showing, legal address choices, the privacy stance, and every public deployment decision.
